Not All Mobile Clicks Are Equal

When scaling your mobile affiliate marketing campaigns it’s important to remember that not all clicks are equal!

If you have a campaign working good on one display traffic source and you attempt to port it over to another source, you need to make sure the ad-network’s publisher base is somewhat the same. Meaning your ads are displaying on similar websites/apps.

For example, if you’re running a download offer across a number of media-relate websites you would want to port the campaign over to a traffic source with similar websites.

You wouldn’t want to go show-up on websites where people were playing games as they’re not looking to download files (in most cases).

The same goes for scaling with Pop and Redirect traffic.

While these networks can send a lot of traffic fast, it’s page VIEWS not CLICKS. Your landing page or offer could be shown on a website where they’re just closing it out and not even viewing.

When you start to get profitable it can be easy to forget this simple reminders but they can make a big difference in how profitable your campaign is.

Always remember, not all clicks are equal!
