Why I Recommend Low Paying Offers For Beginners In Mobile Affiliate Marketing

By August 22, 2016Affiliate Marketing

Getting started with mobile affiliate marketing can be somewhat intimidating to beginners because of the number of variables involved.

Unlike traditional web (or desktop) affiliate marketing, you only have to focus on driving your traffic to a landing page and/or offer from a computer most likely on a cable or high-speed Internet connection.

With mobile we have to focus on multiple operating systems, devices, screen sizes, and network operator.  All of these variables can have an effect on your conversion rate.

With all these moving parts, I always recommend starting with lower paying offers.

Why?

If an offer pays under a dollar, you’re going to know after $10 – $20 spend if you have a chance of making it work or not.

Typically we’ll see offers such as these in countries such as Ghana, Nigeria, Azerbaijan, and India.

Not only is mobile traffic VERY cheap in these countries, many mobile operators are integrated with Click Flow offers meaning user’s simply have to click to become successful conversion (no manual entry).

With these type of conversion flows, most of the time, you want your traffic to get to the offer and to go through it as quickly as possible, so you can simply direct link.  Making your ONLY challenge to find as much traffic as you can.

So not only can you really stretch a $100 testing budget, but with your only focus on going out and buying traffic (vs. creating a bunch of landing pages) you can really get familiar with how mobile traffic works.

When you’re going out and buying mobile traffic, you always want to consider the user’s engagement level.

For example, if buying display ads, you know the user expressed some type of interest in your offer as they had to click your banner to get there (higher engagement level).

If you’re sending Pop or Redirect traffic, the end-user is going to be less engaged in what you’re promoting as your ad just “showed up” on their screen.  You need to take into account what they are doing at this time and target offers accordingly (i.e. game offers on game websites).

While it’s not likely you’re going to hit your first $1K profit day with a $0.25 paying offer, you can hit your first $100 profit day and if you can get 10 markets like this profitable, you’ll not only find that $1K, but much more stability being diversified.

Low-paying Click Flow offers are the best place to get started in mobile affiliate marketing – so make sure to check them out and focus on getting a couple profitable!
